(irl his hair and eyes have a lot more dimension, bc of the shiny pencils and natural light it looks a lot more flat there compared to the shirt bc my shadow is blocking the light there)

for all my sketches i use the same technique, i look at a photo on my phone and then just draw on paper by eye. bc i have depth perception issues drawing on lined paper helps me a lot.
for the drawing of jungkook i used a method where you print out a picture, draw a grid on it, then draw a larger grid on a sheet of paper- working square by square. ppl who arent "schooled" in art consider this "cheating" when i was actually taught the technique in art classes and many MANY legendary and famous painters have used this same technique.
